Adolescence x Language Evolution Workshop and Symposium in Tokyo, Japan

Updated: Jun 24, 2019

We are excited to announce the TEA <Think & Exchange ideas of Adolescence> workshop and ALE <Adolescence x Language Evolution> symposium taking place in July 2019 at the University of Tokyo.

This is our first international, collaborative event between all our collaborators on the Adolescent Sociality project. Our aim is to share research findings and ideas around adolescent social networks and communication. This will feed this into our future project development, as well as working towards establishing an Adolescent Sociality Research Network. Many of our project members will be giving presentations (see poster below!).

The workshop and symposium is being organised by the Adolescent Sociality project members Masahito Morita, Yudai Tokumatsu and Yasuo Ihara at the Evolutionary Anthropology Lab at the University of Tokyo, and is being funded by

ESRC-AHRC and MEXT Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI).
